The ANGEL program exists to provide professional library services for elementary school and academy libraries in the Southern Union and North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist church.
At ANGEL, books are purchased, cataloged, processed, and shipped to schools ready for the library shelves. Included with these services is access to ANGEL's online catalog, where each school can browse their library collection via the Internet. This helps to lessen the duty of library maintenance for many faculty and staff. A well-stocked library is essential to every school, as is teaching students to navigate their library’s resources. Now even the smallest SDA schools have the benefit of professional library services without the need to hire a trained library media specialist. These services also help many schools with accreditation programs, such as SACS.
